From a letter from the 3d 0. V. C., dated“Camp near Roswell, Ga., July 8, 1864.” wecopy the following account of the destruction of importaut manufacturing establishments. If not news exactly, it is direct andmore full than anything yet published inregard to the matter:“On the 5th we took a position on the ex-treme left, in front of Rokwelle ; on the 6th,company B, 3d 0. V. C, and one company ofthe4th, iu command ot Capt. I). E. Livermore,have beenwas ordered to Koswelle. We captured thetown without any difficulty. This was animportant point for the rebels; there weretwo very extensive cotton factories, furnishing employment for 1100 j ersons, all femaleswith the exception of a few small boys andabout a half dozen men, unserviceable forthe army There was also one large woolenfactory. Onone of the factories the French flag wasfloating to the breeze, as iu defiance to ournation. But Capt.
