Awarded the Purple Heart medal,Pfc. Alexander sent it to his parents last week.He enlisted inthe Array inFfibru arv of 1942 and went overseas last T* AlexanderJanuary.. He was educated at. Washington Irving and SeymourSchools, worked for his father for a time and was employed at Halcomb Steel Company before enlisting in ihe service.. He has a brother in service in Texas.
