Telegraphic orders were received Saturday morning revising the allotment and reducing the county’s quota by 87.A second call has been issued for 29 men from Cherokee county to be sent to Camp Forrest, Ga., during the three-day period beginning July 20. In addition to this the state has been called upon for 800 men to be sent to Jefferson Barracks, Mo., Augusts. Another 500 men are to be sent to Ames August 15 for two months’ special training as auto mechanics.
