sFAREWELL MEETINGAt the meeting of the Home Defense League Tuesday night it was decided to hold a patriotic meeting Sunday afternoon in honor of the boys from the vicinity of Aurelia who will be called into service during the month of July, and alao the remaining ones in class one. The meeting will be held in the afternoon at two o’clock sharp. The plaoa are to hold it on the school grounds if the weather is fair or at the Methodist church in case of rainy weather.Tfiere will be patriotic addresses by Revs. H. C. Kephart and W. U. Parka, music by the Aurelia band and singing of patriotic songs.As there will be nearly thirty from Aurelia and vicinity who are included in the July calls, this move on the part of the Defense League comes at an opportune time to give the boys a good send off before they leave to join the colors.
