TWOBAHLECITY LIEUTENANTMISSING IN ACTIONTwo Kern county servicemen were named as killed in action today on a navy department casualty list that reports a Bakersfield lieutenant missing in battle.Dead are:Hospital Apprentice First Class Roy E. Avery, navy, son of Mrs. Maggie M. Avery, Mountain View. He had been previously reported a prisoner of war.Pharmacist Mate Bill Cullen, 24, brother of Mrs, Marjorie Christ, 120 E street. The youth was born in Taft and attended the West Side schools and the University of California.1ciIMissing is:Second Lieutenant Charles W. Davis, marine, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles A.
