The wire did not give particular* of the accident, which happened Julv 11. He was one of five aona of Mr and Mrs. Porter, all in tht armed forces.Joel was a native of Findlay and wai graduated from the local high achooi in 1937. The family moved to Toledo that year and has relided there ever since.He wai employed at LaSalle and Koch's department atore at the time of_ his Induction into Che services. The father was a well known business man and for manv years wss clerk of the Find'sv board of education.
