Missing In Actionlj Belatedly, as compared with information received by relatives, j of other soldiers in this vicinity, Mr. and Mrs. George F. Jackson of Loganlon, R. D., have receiveda message from the War Department listing their son, Private Lawrence E. Jackson, left, as missing in action, Jackson was stationed with the Ordnance Department of thcj i Coast Artillery at Fort Mills, Corregidor. His whereabouts now is; | unknown, but presumably he is a Japanese prisoner. With him; i here is also Corp. Bernard Mancini, son of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony, iMancini, of this city, who has also been listed as missing in action, i He was also stationed at Fort Mills.t . i ~
