Wounded Local Soldier to Visit Parents in MonthSpec. 5 Michael Kasaback, who was wounded while serving as a mechanic in Vietnam, will arrive home to visit his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Kasaback of 21 Congress PI., in the middle of August.H *THE ARMY Specialist was wounded in the wrist and ear last month and was hospitalized for two weeks, according to his parents. He called home Sunday, they said, and “is much better now.”Spec. Kasaback, who has served in Vietnam for a year, will spend 30 days at home on leave before returning to duty. He has served three years, and will probably spend the next 18 months in the United States, Mrs. Kasaback said.A MEMBER of a seven-man section which handles carrier repair, Spec. Kasaback said, “With ou»- field gear we handle four or five immediate repair jobs a day. With more than 50 carriers in the battalion (1st) we keep pretty busy.”The combat repair section is called to the scene when one of the armored personnel carriers strikes an enemy mine.“THE FORWARD repair sec- j tion insures they’ll be chasing the enemy again in the stort-est possible time,” said Capt.
