—Recruiting for the new regiments has commenced in earnest throughout the State, though the gathering in of the unprecedented harvest will retard enlistments for a few days. The Terre Ilaute Erprcss says:Active preparations are being made throughout i he Iist riot, in the way ol recruiting tor the 7ist regiment, to be organized at this place. Some two or three companies are being raised in this county already, and others spoken of. From the indications, we think but a short time will elapse before the 71st wll be ready {qt marching orders. We heard a rumor last evening as to u-ho would probably be the field officers, which, if true, will mak» it one of the best regiments which has left camp Vigo.The Madison Courier sayr:Fiust in the Field.—Lieut. Wm. C. Stinc-hack has thrown his flag to the breeze and commenced recruitings company for the new (67th) regiment to he raised in this Congressional District, rendezvousing at Madison.The responses to the Governor’s proclamation received at the Executive office up to last eveuing were of the most encouraging character. Push on the column, boys, and Indiana will he able to send McClellan .several regiments in a lew weeks.
