Worker at Pearl Harbor in ServiceRay A. Cierley, 30, of Bakersfield, a civilian worker who was wounded in the right hand during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, where he was foreman of a pile driver crew, has joined the navy, a report from San Diego stated today,Cierley, whose wife and two children are still in Bakersfield, drove an ambulance from a pickup truck for three days after being wounded in the raid, the navy said.
