V. F. W. POST MAY BE FORMED AT GALENAGalena, Kan., July 7.—All ex-service men who have had campaign medal service and their wives are invited to attend a meeting at 8 o’clock Tuesday night at the courtroom in the city hall when an attempt will be made to organize a post for Veterans of Foreign Wars here.Members of Hcndry-LeGore post No. 3115 of Baxter Springs and the auxiliary pokt will be here to hold an open meeting. Department Commander Marion Burton of Parsons will explain questions of interest to ex-service men and their dependents. Music will be provided and refreshments will be served.An effort will be made either toorganize a Galena post or for the Galena members to form a joint post with Baxter Springs.
