Vol. Militia,IndiaDupolia, July 7, 1862.In pursuance of the recent call for volunteers t be raised in tbis Slate for the United States service, the following General Orders have be-n adopted:The Twelfth and Sixteenth Regiments will complete their organization from the Stale at large, as heretolore ordered.Companies organizing for either of the other Regiments under General Orders No. 45, will be assigned to the Regiments now authorized in the several Congressional Districts.A regiment will be ra sed and organized ineach Congressional District of the State, to benumbered and rendezvoused as follows:Con. Sergeant;6 Sergeants;12 Coi plt;r«i Is;2 Musioiuua;6 Aitdicers;1 Wagoner;122 Privates;Any volunteer who may be received into the service of the United 8tntes under this plan, and who may be wounded or otherwise disabled in the service, shall be entitled to the benefits which have been or may be conferred on persons disabled in the regular ser vice, and the legal heirs of such aa die ir iiibv be killed in service, in addition toaJl arrears of pay and a Mown ncea, shall receive the sum of one hundred dollars.A premium of two dollars shall be paid for each accepted recruit. Every volunteer who enlists for three years or during the war shall receive his first month's pay in advance upon the mustering of his company into the service of the United States, and shall, in addition thereto, receive in advance twenty five dollars of the one hundred dollars bnuDty above specified, which sh^ll bo paid when the cnmpHiiy has been raised to the minimum number.By order of IIis Excellency 0.
