VP)—A prominent physician was shot and critically injured in a holdup and an army lieutenant escaped similar Injuries by complying with tha demands of another holdup man as the crime wave which baa swept San Antonio in the last eight weeks continued on Its course.Dr. O. A. Hill was shot when he attempted to resist a man who leaped on the running board of his automobile. The bullet passed through his liver, out hospital attendants said that he had a fair chance to recover. Lieut. Temple Holland of Fort Sam Houston met a holdup man, thought to be the one that robbed Dr. Hill, In another part of the city.
