Hold ObservanceAt RevolutionaryWar Hero's GraveAn impressive Independence Day ceremony was held yesterday morning at the grave of a Revolutionary War soldier in Old Union cemetery.The observance was sponsored by Joel Pace Chapter, D. A. R. and Jefferson Post 141, American Legion at the grave of William Tong.Short talks were made by Legion and D. A. R. officials and the principal address was given by Rev. Andrew Caraker, First Baptist church pastor.The Salute to the Dead, by tJie Legion firing squad, and playing “Taps” concluded tne program.
