War Prisoner Is Now HeldIn JapanCapt, Adolph Giesecke, 39, of San Antonio, who became a prisoner of the Japanese on Bataan in April, 1942, now is held by the Japs at Camp Fukuoka in Japan, the war department has advised his wife, Mrs. Goldia Giesecke, of 323 W. Gramercy.The information received here revealed to his wife, son, Buddy, 13. and parents, Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Giesecke, 203 W. Myrtle, for the..first time that the captain had survived bombing of a Japanese ship carrying prisoners of war last December.Capt. Giesecke is a native San Antonian and graduate of Texas A. U. Coliege. A brother, Cci. Carl G. Giesecke, now is stationed with the army medical corps in Mu rope.
