Ada MangnallCENTERVILLE - Ada M. Mangnall, 93, of Centerville died Jan. 21, 1993, at St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital in Centerville.She was born July 2, 1899, in Centerville to Joseph Edgar and Minnie Jane Lowe Swafford. She married William “Bill” Mangnall on Aug. 22, 1920, in Centerville. He died March 30, 1988.She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Centerville and Alice Cheney Guild.She is survived by two daughters, Charlotte Gumm of Des Moines and Louise Ashby of Centerville; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Gus Swafford.She was preceded in death by her parents; and three sisters, Ola Hastings, Lula Lyon and Ethel Fuger.The service was Sunday at Lange Funeral Home. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery in Centerville.Memorials may be made to her church and may be left at the funeral home.
