ieY Loses 14Village M ento ServiceFourteen village men, either holding membership in the Y.M.C.A., or living in the dormitory have left to join Uncle Sam’s military forces since the Selective Service went into act, according to figures released by C. E. Winchell, program secretary.The men joined 52 others, all members of the “Y” but who are residents of River oFrest and Oak Park, the total being 76. Of these 76 men, most are now scattered throughout the United States and its territories.Maywood men leaving the Oak Park “Y” are: John Thacker, Donald Bruss, Louis Kmet, Karl Erm-isch, Chris Ginder, James Meiers, Marvin Mischnik, F. Pershing Hill, Jack Harris, George Hillyer, Earl Laubly, Donald Leal.Forest Park members were: Russell Stryker, Carleton Engel. Melrose Park member was Byrona Brooks. *•’* ' 'kif iisL
