ARE MADE PRISONERS OF WAROrders Were Received From Wash ington to That Effect and Emer. gency Hospitals Now Guarded.On Saturday afternoon Colonel Blocksoti, commander of Fort McIntosh. received orders from the war department instructing him to make the wounded constitutionalists being treated in the emergency hospitals in this city prisoners of war and to hold them as such. A detail of soldiers,with equipment for guard duty, wereimmediately placed in charge and they established camp on ground ad joining one of the hospitals on Flores Avenue. The guard is still on duty.It is said that when the soldiers were placed on guard Saturday night there were forty-five patients in the hospitals. A report has it that this morning there were only ten left. It is said that those who made their getaway wore white cross emblems on their arms, and the guards, thinking they were nurses, paid no attention to them. Quite a clever ruse, but it seems to have had the desired effi'ct.
