Funeral Services Held.Funeral services for Edward C. Turner were held at the Dauderman Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon, January 9 at 2 o'clock. Rev. A. C. Kuehn officiated. A mixed quartet Composed of Mrs. Jos. Pohl, Jr., Mr, and Mrs. Earl Shepard and Rev. A. C, Kuehn sang “'Come to the Christ and *Jesus Lover of My Soul.” The following members of the American Le-fion of which he was a member, served as pallbearers: Otto Miller, Otto Deibert, Ben Hess, Leroy Zsmmerli, Jcs. Bisgen and William Espenschied. On Sept. 19, 1917, Mr. Turner was failed to the colors and served during the duration of the World War. He •erved overseas for one year, taking part In the following engagements: Argonne-Muese offensive, offense of i Vaden Lines, Verdun, the offense of Troy-on-Sin-Muese and served In the Army of Occupation from December 18, 1918, to April 25, 1919, and was honorably discharged on May 31, 1919. JMembers of Becker-Reding Post So. 702 had charge of the services at the *rave. The funeral was largely attended. Interment was in the Marine Cemetery.
