The prevalent disease seems to be pneumonia and affections of the lungs, resulting from colds contracted by exposure. We are glad that the kind ladies of our town have taken charge of the hos-, pital, so that hereafter the sick soldier will receive all necessary attention.We understand that about 4,000Yankee thieves and robbers willpass our depot in the next few days.They were captured at Murfreesboro’, and the Yankee commission-er refused to receive them unless officers accompanied them; this being inconsistentwit.li our President’s proclamation in relation to Butler the Beast, they were sent to Richmond, to be dealt with as they deserve
