Five Sullivan Boys All Dead, Says “Shipmate”(Continued)ci;tillery, somewhere in Africa. She resides there with her aunt, Mrs. Anthony Nac-carato.She is five feet three and one-half inches tall, 23 years old and weighs 135 pounds.Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Jaros, operate a farm near Amsterdam, O., where Margaret, or “Marge,” as she is called, was raised.Gives Text of Letter. jMrs. Sullivan said that the letter t from a sailor whose name she did not reveal said:“First -let me introduce myself. I was a sailor on the Juneau with your boys. George was a special friend of mine.“George got off but died on the life xaft I was on. ]“The other boys were below at ]the time. They went down with the ship and did not suffer. •“It was a sad and pathetic sight to see George looking for his brothers, but all to no avail.George and 1 made several liberties together and always kiddedabout coming home and going back on the railroad after the war was over.“I don't know whether this sort of letter helps or hurts you, but it’s the truth.“I know you will carry on in the fine navy spirit and I truly hope your boys’ lives did not go to no avail.“I will try to avenge them for you.”Thursday Hard Day.Thursday was a hard day for the Sullivans. There was a rush of posing for news-reel cameraman. Two newsreel companies from Chicago were on hand. There was sound and electrical equipment spread thruout the house.The newsreel photographers took shots of Mr. Sullivan at his work on his train as freight conductor. They took Mrs. Sullivan to St. Mary’s Catholic church and photographed her lighting vigil lights as she prayed for the boys.Both Mr. and Mrs. Sullivan were patient with all of the newspaper and newsreel men.“We want to co-operate in every way,” Mr. Sullivan said.A telephone call came from New York City with an invitation from a broadcasting company for Mr. and Mrs. Sullivan to come to Mew York with all expenses paid.
