FIRM FRIENDS—A long period of service was ended with a firm hand shake between Col. Jack It. Adams, Commander of the 375th Troop Carrier Wing, and S-Sgt. Manuel Almaguer, Rt. 1, San Snba. who was reassigned from the 2253rd Air Force Reserve Combat Training Center, Pittsburgh. Pa., to (he Alaskan Air Command. Sgt- Almaguer was assigned to the Training Center in December, 1951, where he served as an Administrative Specialist, with the Reserve Personnel and Administration Section. Better known as Ace to both officers and airmen, he had the job of interviewing and classifying personnel joining the Reserve 375th Troop Carrier Wing. Almaguer is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jesus Almaguer, Ru 1, San Saba. lie was formerly stationed at Sheppard AirForce Base. Texas, and the Air Force's Detachment at Oklahoma AM College where he attendedClerk-Typist school. Sgt. Almaguer was cited for his outstanding performance and skilled assistance to the Air Force Reserve by both the 375th and 2253rd Commanders.—Air Force Photo.
