JANESVILLE, WIS.Bodies of Five War Heroes Arrive in the United StatesBodies of five more Southern Wisconsin m°n who lost theirlives in the Pacific area during World War II have been returned to the United States aboard the United States army transport Sergeant Jack J. Pendleton. Theyare the remains of T 5 Harold P.Keegan and Cpl. Waiter McCabe.both of Janesville; Pvt. MelvinChristensen. Brooklyn; Cpl. Walter Waga, Whitewater; and Pvt. Frank Maveus Jr., Brodhead.One of the men, T 5 Keegan, §on of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Keegan, 31 S. Main street, was a 192nd Tank battalion man. His parents were notified that he died June 3, 1942, at Camp O’Donnell in the Philippines, ' the cause of his death having been dysentery, Memorial services were held in St. Mary’s Catholic church in August Of 1946.Cpl. McCabe, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. J. McCabe, 611 X. Garfield avenue, was killed in action with the marines in the southwest Pacific.
