Morrow and Hugh Patton Stockton were married on Dec. 15, 1855. They lived on a plantation in Tennessee. Hugh Stockton was a direct descendent of the Richard Stockton that signed the Declaration of Independence. Richard Stockton was a Statesman and Judge in New Jersey, who lived from 1730 to 1781. A bust of him is in Statuary Hall, Washington, D.C., presented in 1888.
