HOW TO GIVE A JAP THE SHAKESJap snipers on Guadalcanal are providing American troops With some of the best sport of the war. When a Yank sights a Jap fjerched in a coconut tree, a tank is sent for. The tank gives the tree enough of a bump to start it swaying violently without uprooting it This launches the sniper as if he were a day pigeon. And as he soars through the air with the greatest of unease, the boys shoot him on the wing,Ther* are no prizes. But occasionally the launching bump pays off with a jack-pot of coconuts.
