Lorain policeman slays4i LORAIN — A policeman i who would have marked his - 10th year on the department in _ two weeks shot and killed his I wife early today then killed t himself, Lorain police report-j ed.Dead are Patrolman James, P. Hritsko, 37, and his wife, Marlene Jewel, 33, of 1605 West 28th St. The killings apparently were prompted by j marital difficulties, police j said.£ Their deaths orphaned fivechildren. This was shortly after 4 a.m.Detective Inspector MauriceMumford said he did not know where Hritsko had been before the shootings.Mrs. Hritsko, clad in paja*mas, also suffered a wristwound before she died, police said. Real estate agents complained that owners of property for sale or rent could get around the law by showing properties themselves.The amendment bans discrimination b owners of or agents for a single dwelling unit. The original prohibited discrimination by agents for five or more dwelling unitsOberiin’s fair housing law was enacted in 1961. and was subsequently upheld by the State Supreme Court.
