At the time of his death he was withthe army near Springfield, lie was in the light at Prairie Grove, and conducted him* self nobly, lie was a professor of religion, and died in the Christian hope of immortal* j itt ltd happiness. The body has been brought home, or will soon arrive. Thus baa fallen another brave soldier. Honor to his name 1
