Mrs. George MiUer of R- R-No. 9, Miss Hunt's letters have appeared frvttu time to time in the Tribune and are read with interest- The following letter is sent from Coblenz.Germany:Coblenx. Germany. Jan. 22, 1919.Dear Bess and all:—*1 suppose you are wondering what t «un doing over here id Germany- Be-sides eight hours1 dhty'feaeh day with three meals such as they xt and keeping the fire going while 1 am in my room I am sight seeing whenever we enough time off to do so. We were out vesterday afternoon. Did a little shopping (bought this stationery), took r few picture* end nearly walked our legs off. • We- walked -along the Rhine for a long ways. Walked out to where the Moselle and Rhine rivers meet; went to the top of the monument erect-cd there up some circular stairs to the tdp and from, there.had a splendid view of the Watch, on - the Rhino-rthe Btfongest .and, most, .wonderful, fort -in the world, and is now occupied by theAmericans-It was ferny tryi*S to shop whenk« didn’t know ot\e yfpnI. o%. And when I am late to my meals and when % want seconds on anything I call the maid and point to what I want on the other fellow's plate. If their plate happens to be empty I Just keep after her and she keeps bringing In stuff until I finally get what I want Great sport I am on duty with evacuation hospital number 2. They have mostly medical contagion and otherwise and few surgical, I have T. B. (I just hate T. B, too), influent* and convalescing patients. The work isn't heavy at all, hut you know there is always something to do for medical cases. %Ve are under awful restrictions here. Military, you Know, but I suppose it is for the best.I sin just cm*y to see the girls and of course Olive Jane most of all. I do want a snap of her as soon as possible.
