Dr. E. C. Hartman was up from l^sa Moines from Friday until Monday. It' ia said that at Fort Des Moines where Dr. Hartman is located,, the government planB on erecting a huge base hospital which will have room for 1,100 beds. This hospital will Berve aa a1 central hospital for the United States. ! In case the war•*continues several' months it may be necessary to erect Beores of such hospitals to care for the American wounded who will be sent back from the front.
