Promotion.—We leara that Major H. A. Frisble of the 37th Illinois ^olrnteers, ha* been promoted by the Governor to Lieutenant Colonel, for meritorious services rendered at the Into battle of Prairie Grove, Ark. He is now iu command of the regiment, which is being refitted nnd newly clothed, at a place-some fifty miles south of Springfield, Mo. They are also waiting their pay, which they . expect to get before they again move, now nearly sis months past due. The health of the regiment Is excellent, and the wounded who are not recovered are being rapidly removed to Springfield.
