Hear Record byLt. Thomas SavageFrom TokioVillage friends of Lt ThomasSavage, formerly of 536 North Oak Park avenue, were discussing on Tuesday the news that a recorded broadcast by Lt. Savage whc^ was captured in the Philippines, had been heard from radio Tokio on Sunday night.Lt Savage is a son of the late Dr. Robert G. Savage, who was a staff member of the Oak Park hospital, and Mrs. Savage, who has moved to Seattle, Wash. The record, obviously belated, was a Christmas greeting: 'Thisis to wish you a Merry Christmas. We are all well. Send packages whenever you can. Hello, mother and brother. Bob.”Mrs. Savage, who visited in the village last summer, did not know, at that time, where her son was, and from the message, Lt. Savage had not yet heard that his mother had moved, for he gave his home address as Oak Park.
