Manhattan Youth Given CommissionMANHATTAN, Feb. 7.—‘Special! Warren F. Mead, a son of Mr. and tyrs. Lyle F. Mead, has received a commission as second lieutenant of infantry in the U. S. Army after completing a three months’ officers’ training course at Fort Benning, GaHe is spending a furlough in St. Paul, Minn., the former home of the Mead family, and has been joined there by his mother, Mrs. L. F Mead. Both are guests in the home of the latter’s mother, Mrs. Mary Hennessey.
