Wallace M. Gagnon dead at 49; rites here WednesdayWallace M. Gagnon, 2865 Fairlane avenue, died unexpectedly Sunday. He was49.Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Isidore Catholic church with Rev. Francis Prim officiating. American Legion will conductmilitary riles in St. Bonaventure cemetery for the World War II veteran. Rosary will be a p.m. Tuesday at McKown Funeral Home where the body will lie in state after 1 p.m. that doy.Son of the late Armond and Adeleen Abar Gagnon, he was born June 27, 3919 atOgdcnshurg, N.Y., where he was graduated from Noire Dame High school.He served in the. Army from March 3, 1941 to Dec. 20, 3944. participating in the Guadalcanal campaign. He was a member or American Legion Hartman Post 34.On April 29, 3961 Mr, Gagnon married Helen Krzycki i n Omaha, and they resided there and in Columbus. She survives him.One brother preceded him in death.
