Bundles Aid Takes Over N ew Offices452 South Warren Street Being* OccupiedAdministrative offices of the Syracuse Chapter of Bundles for Britain, Inc., were being moved from the Emily Mundy Bookshop, 429 South Warren Street, to largerquarters in. the Conde Toy Shop, 452 South Warren Street, today.The move is being made, according to announcement of Mrs, J. F. S. Meachem, president, because of the sale of the building where the ‘ present office is located. -A new location is being sought ( also for the production center in lt;South Clinton Street, and the move , will be made as soon as a suitable 1location is found, ;Mrs. Meachem and Mrs. Dana ’ Hyde, secretary of the local chapter, had charge of today's mov- , ing. Yarn will continue to be \ distributed at the new office and i articles sold for the relief of Eng- jlish war sufferers.At the same time, Mrs. Meachem , asked Syracusans to save tinfoil, , leadfoil and aluminum foil for j Bundles for Britain. To date, * she said, four blood transfusion , sets have been purchased by the Syracuse Chapter through sale of the foil.During the four months the ( local chapter has been operating, more than 9,000 woolen articles i and 2,000 knitted articles have been shipped to England. In addition I residents of this section have con- ( tributed more than $8,000.
