Don Luis was horn on the old Olivas ranch in the Mound district. 86 years ago, and his entire lift* has been spent in this sec-t ion.Like all the hospitable old Spaniards who owned vast ranchos in early days he lived to see his holdings pass from him; hut again, like all the men of his class, he was a courtier to the end in spite of poverty and the infirmities of age.His nearest relatives are nephewsand nieces.
