Benedict, of Morrow; John Butler and Edward Williams, of Mahoning, and Ezra Cattell, of Harrison—visited the Legislature this afternoon, to confer with the members in relation to the law to exempt them from military duty, and al30 from money substitutes. They will find the Military Committee incorrigible.Auditor Tayler has positively declined to resign, and mainly because tk e Governor persisted in his determination to appoint a Democrat in his place.
