FINE CONTRIBUTION TO CANTEEN FUNDThe Air Raid Sufferers Canteen Fund made a long forward stride yesterday, thanks to a contribution of £532 13 4 from Citrus Shippers of the island, and to whom the l hanks of the community goes for their generous action.^ Mr. G. G. R. Sharp of the Citrus Co. of Jamaica Ltd., yesterday sent lh« following letter to Mr. L. P. Downer, Chairman of the Centra) War Assistance Committee: — “Following on a suggestion from me to all Citrus Shippers that they should subscribe to the War Fund a small sum on each box of fruit which they export this season, J have much pleasure in advising (hat the following contributions have been received to date: —Citrus Company of Jamaica Limited £415; Messrs. Lawson Bros. of Four Paths £100; Messrs.
