I was held over as an ASTP candidate. but orders came down stating that ASTP was closed. I then spent a couple of anxious weeks wondering what was to happen to me. Finally, however. I was transferred to the Headquarters Co.. InfantryReplacement Training Center, where I am now working as a stenographer to a Lt. Colonel who is the Director of Battle Courses and is also assistant director of Plans and Training. The work Is fine and is certainly a letdown frmo the tough basic which McClellan is noted for.I take this means to wish you aFL'dfc.
