Obituary.Pied, at his residence, near Mount Prospect, Crawford county, Ind., Dec, 1st, 1862, JACKSON BUCHANAN, aged 53 years.The deceased was au exemplary member of the Missionary Baptist Church, and in all the relations of life was highly respected by his neighbors and fellow citizens. He was a native of Oldham county, K\, and removed to his late residence in Crawford county in 1858. Devotedly attached to the Union of the States as our fathers framed it, when the present war broke out, he look an active part in getting up volunteers. One son and three sons-in-law entered the service of their country, and during their absence he has supported their families.
