m.- m-.w v~; ■ •.mPhoto by DormBernacchi, 901 Brupdage Lane, have received notice from the ad* jutant general that their son, Lieu* tenant Adolph Bernacchi, missing since April 4, has been declared “killed in action.” Lieutenant Bernacchi, pilot of a B-17, was re-lege, enlisted in the service in April, 1942, and was graduated from Douglas Army Air Field, Ariz. He had been in the European theater five months and had been awarded the Air Medal with two Oak Leaf Clusters. Besides his parents. Lieutenant Bernacchi is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Frank Forchini of San Francisco, Mrs. Nilda Johnson of Bakersfield, two nephews and one niece.ported missing over the North Sea on a return trip from Germany toEngland.
