Watson Chief Of Housing CorpsWilliam c. WaUon, secretary o! the Zanesville aerie, Fnternal Or-aer of Eagles, was named chief of emergency housing corps last night by the Zanesville Civilian Defense committee,Watson wilt have charge of housing refugees from the coastal states, should an air attack be made on those centers.Local defense committee members were urged to establish this important post as soon as possible, by Lt. C. W. Patton, of the U. S. army, who met with members of the committee last week.Watson will solicit the aid of other groups in setting up his organization, It Is said.Members of the defense committee are Lt Col. Earl W. Brannon, Capt, Walter French, Lt. Fred Quigley, Capt, Kajph Cosgrave, Major Robert Drake and Comm. Clinton Kramer.The committee-announced thatwith the completion of appointments of other division heads, a general meeting will be held at which time the division heads will receive instruction along militarylines. It was thought'that all other appointments would be made by the first of the week.Members of veterans* organizations who will be placed in the various divisions are asked to wear .their respective uniforms In order that Identification may be made more rapidly.
