* COURT NEWS *** *•****••*In Common Pleas court on Saturday, through his attorneys, J. C. Fullerton, Jr., and Charles Faust,Clyde Statler filed a motion in-.the 55,000 slander suit of Milton T. Dilts, candidate for mayor of Troy at the recent election, to strike from the plaintiff's petition the words, For the purpose of inducing persons, voters of the City of Troy, not to vote for said Milton T. Ditto, who is a candidate for mayor in the City of Troy, and who is to be voted for on the 6th day of November,The damage ca3e was filed by Mr. Dilts the day before the election. The plaintiff alleges t/hat the defendant stated in. a Sunday school class at the First Baptist church at Troy that Dilts was responsible for keg” parties” held in Troy.
