Retired Lt. Col. Harold F. Marrs«►Retired Lt. Col Harold F Marrs, 75, of Colorado Springs died Nov. 19 while vacationing in St Petersburg, Fla.He served in the Army for 23 years before retiring in 1963, and then worked in civil servicefor eight years.The funeral was held Dec. 1 in Linneus, Mo. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery in Linneus. Col. Marrs was born Sept 14, 1909, in Peabody,Mass.He graduated from Bridger Academy in Dresden, Maine, and also attended HarvardSchool of Business.He served in the South Pacific during World War II, in Korea and Japan during the Korean W?ar, and in Europe Theatre from 1959 to 1961 He was a member of the Retired Officers Association and the Veterans of ForeigaX He was a -Unitarian' ,Survivors include . wife, Melba, and a sister, Helt*4Marrs of Salem, Mass. 4
