Search Resumed For Missing I. S. Plane in Germanydear flying weather enabled the American Ah* Force to re* sume its search today for the U. S. transport plane missing for seven days with 20 persons aboard, piloted by Lt, Wesley B, Fleming of Pampa, The search area was enlarged to include Switzerland, Austria and Italy ' an - Associated 'Press .‘dispatch ' stSt ed this morning,Lt. Fleming's wife and children, 1320 E. Frederic, and his mother, Mrs. J. H. Fleming, 702 S. Gray, near their radios for all newscasts, were filled with nenewpd hope that the plane would-be found when the search wa'sv.ici sumed today. Ai'.y.':Air Force officials said approx.-imately 100 American planes?were available for the widespread.'hunt —suspended yesterday because' ol low flying fog. The search planes included 50 Constabulary L*5 observation craft capable of searching close to the ground.Officials said the search would be concentrated in the French zone of Germany near Bersch-waller, where an apparent signal fire from the missing plane was seen Wednesday night. They added they were confident thal radio signals which apparently emanated from the crew of the lost ship were genuine.The hunt will also go forwarc in the Alpine region on the pos* sibiiity that the transport flew directly over Switzerland, or gol lost in fog and shifting wind; over the Rhone valley and unintentionally headed toward the 'Alps. The plane was en route from Pisa to Frankfurt when ii dlsnneared last Fridav.
