GEORGE WITTE MAN DEAD.George Witteman, Fifteenth and Prairie, died at 4 o'clock Sunday afternoon. Mr. Witteman, who was 87 years old. was a retired farmer. He had been in falling health for the pest month. *Funeral aerrlcea will be held- at 1:30 o’clock Wednesday afternoon in the Roberts-Blue Funeral chapel. Burial will be In Memorial lawn cemetery, tGeorge Wittman was bom in Columbus, Ohio, November 38, 1153. He came to Bmporia 35 years ago. He married Emma a. Evils leer' in Barton county, Missouri, December 30. 1980. She died April 29, 1933. Mr. Witteman leaves three sons and a' daughter. They are Frank Witteman, Amerlcus; Albert Witteman, Westphalia; Charles Witteman, Emporia, and Mrs. W. E, Welbora, Waverly. A sister, Mrs. George Valier, of Springfield, Ore.; three granddaughter* and six grandson* also survive. Mr. Witteman was a member of tire Presbyterian church.
