Leslie C. Fitting, S 1/c. TJSN. hasreposted to the Newport, R, T. naval training station for duty aboard the USS Fargo, a new light cruiser soon to be commissioned The son of Mr.- and Mrs.. Charles Fitting, 418 East Eleventh street, this city. Seaman Fitting has been overseas for 13 months as a member of an armed guard crew aboard a merchant ship. He participated in the invasion of I Normandy.
