Some ten or fifteen vessels were in port, and they presented a gay appearauee— taking up much of the landing. Nearly all of them were in Government service. The following is a list: Boland, Capitol, Ben.South, Marmora, Fannie McBurnic, Sir Win. Wallace, Ida May, Moderator, Lady Frauk-lin. Forest Queen, Key West, Jewess, Mariner, and Polar Star.
