on soon.The Memphis Argus of the -8th says:The Forest Queen was delayed iu couse-ijuenee of not getting her freight delivered. .She is up for Cairo and Evansville to-day ut 4 1\ M. Capt. Conway will take all offering. Mr. II. B. Spencer has charge of the office. For freight or passage apply on hoard. The wharf yesterday presented a lively scene. Some ten or fifteen vessels were in port, and they presented a gay appearauee— taking up much of the landing. Nearly all of them were in Government service. The following is a list: Boland, Capitol, Ben.South, Marmora, Fannie McBurnic, Sir Win. Wallace, Ida May, Moderator, Lady Frauk-lin. Forest Queen, Key West, Jewess, Mariner, and Polar Star. The following is a list of steamboats now detained at Helena: Champion No. 3, Ohio Belle, David Tatum, City Belle, John Warner, L. M. Rennet, latun, Catahoula, Spread Eagle, Nebraska, Minnehaha, Carl, Conway, Tecuinseh, Decatur, Choteau, Des Moines, Meteor, Fanny Bullit, Gladiator, Imperial, Emma, Hiawatha, J. II.
