SEPTEMBER BRIDES CENTER OF INTERESTAttention in being centered around the fall bride* who will he almost a* numerous this year a* the June bride* Many social affair* have been planned in their honor and invitations have been issued for some of the wedding*. Mia* Betty Wales, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arvine Wales, whose marriage to Mr Robert Perlee M* Lain will take place September 9 at St. Timothy * Episcopal church. Massillon, will have as her maid of honor, her sister. Mis* Martha Wales, and the bridesmaids will be Mrs. Paul Schneider. Miss Helen McLain and Miss Ruth Wales Mr. Norman McLain, brother of the bridegroom will be beet man, and Mr. Carlton Albrecht, Mr. Paul Schneider and Mr. Russell Chase of Cleveland, Mr.lt; b orge Jamb Hunt, Mr. Jacob Hess, and Mr. Herbert lt;’roxton. usher*. The ceremony will he followed by a reception at the Massillon Woman's club, the fortwtr home of M - Wales’ grandparentiMiss Catherine Lynch, daughter of Mr. and Mrs Austin Lynch, of the Massillon rd and Mr. Jacob Hess, 2nd. will take place September 17. Only the members of the immediate families will be present at the ceremony, and a small reception will follow at the home of the bride’* parent*. A number of affair* are being given in honor of Mi** Wale* and Mis* Lynch. Mr. Julian Gordon entertained Saturday evening with a dinner at the Massillon club in their honor. Wednesday Mrs. I. M. Taggart of Massillon will give a luncheon at her home in Miss Wales’ honor, and Wednesday evening Mis* Agnes I candor will entertain with a dinner at Schenk s Tavern on the Waynesburg rd in Miss Lynch * honor. Mist Eleanor Arnold, of Massillon, will give a dinner at her home Thursday evening in honor of the two brides, and Saturday evening Mr. and Mrs, Carlton Albrecht will give a dinner at the dinner dance at the Brooksidelt; untry club in honor of Miss Lynch and Mis* Wale*.The marriage of Miss France* PHI*, daughter of Mr. and Mr*.Edward Pille lt;*f Massillon and Mr Walter E Shively of Akron will take place Monday afternoon, September 8 at 4:30 at St Timothy** Episcopal church at Massillon. Miss Corinne Moulton, of Canton will he maid of j honor, and Miss Helen and Mias Grace Crookston, bridesmaid*. Mr.! Harold Slannery. will he best man, and Mr. Barclay Reed and Mr, Richard Pills, ushers. Miss Harriet Pille will he the flower girl.
