French of the FCSB of Orlando announced yesterday that soldiers composing the HeadquartersCompanies of a Coast Artillery Search Light Battalion will arrive in Eustis next Tuesday to establish a school unit for the Orlando Flight Command.The remainder of the battalion will be stationed in Umatilla and near Mount Dora. “A” Company at the former and “C” company at the latter.GOV. L. Crayden stated yesterday when interviewed concerning mail schedules.Mr. Crayden displayed a letter from the dispatcher stating that the trains were coming into Jacksonville from 40 minutes to 5 hours late and better service could r.ot be for the duration.Citizens have been most patient i*i these matters. They nave inspected and approved the accomodations of all three communities.The purpose of the school is to instruct men in the use of searchlights and airplane detectoisat the same time to teach the art of evading the . It was stated that w ill be a steady turn-over ot because the course lasts but two weeks and new men will be roming in from the Orlando school las others complete their cours'es.J The training here in Eustis will be the completion of their courses as the searchlight instruction is the last one given from the FCSB.Many of tne officers and men w’ho have been in Eustis since the work on the U. S. O. center in the Masonic Building was commenced have expressed their appreciationfor the interest being taken in them.
