r ’-'o- __Sgp Capt. Cr. L. Park, of the 18th Regiment Wisconsin Volunteers arrived here on Thursday last, direct from Vicksburg, where bis regiment h now stationed. Tho Captain is in good health, and looks as if he was good for another active campaign, lie was warmly greeted !y a host of friends, who have a deep regard for the devotion he has displayed in the dischargeofhis military duties. On the organization of the 18th, some two years ago, he was mado its Adjutant —the duties of which ofBoc he discharged faithfully; and has since been promoted to tho Captaincy of Company G. The ranks of the 18th now contain only about 2oO men — having been thinned out by much hard fighting.
